How to cure stammering? Kindly give some tips.?

"A friend of mine back in college had this problem. He took some vocal lessons. One of the things they told him, is whenever he is driving in the car, or anything like that to read every sign he passes out loud. There are always tons of billboards, and various signs along the roads. By reading everything out loud, you become more comfortable with your rate of speach. It may sound strange, but it actually works! I would hope you would give it a try. I wish you all the best of luck in overcoming your stammering."
