Too old for gymnastics?

"As long as your body is still growing, it is not too late to start. There is more of a problem of starting too early. I know that the trend is to start very very early, but many of those young girls who have now made it into adulthood have physical problems and all of them have horror stories. If you are interested in competition, you might be better off waiting until almost high school to start. Performances are always the best when the athlete ??gets into the zone.?? The problem with very young girls is that their body is still growing rapidly and ??the zone?? keeps moving."
